Celebrated violin virtuoso Leonidas Kavakos makes his Singapore debut in Brahms' ever-popular Violin Concerto. Originally scored for string sextet and inspired by a Richard Dehmel poem, Verklärte Nacht ("Transfigured Night") is Schoenberg's most seductive creation and one of the peaks of late Romanticism.
